His passion for creating beautiful, sustainable gardens that thrive in harmony with the local environment is evident in every project he takes on. With a keen eye for detail and a wealth of expereince, John will work closely with you to design a garden that meets your needs and reflects your unique style. When he's not transforming backyards, you'll find John exploring the outdoors on his bike or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Black Head Beach.
Sam - Co-Owner / Co-Garden Designer
A passionate environmentalist and nature lover, Sam joins Eco Gardens and Living as Co-Owner and Co-Garden Designer. Working hand-in-hand with John on every project, she brings her expertise to both your garden design and our website's informative blog posts. Her academic background in Environmental Science and Environmental Law, along with her full-time environment work, ensures your garden integrates seamlessly with the local ecosystem. A champion for native wildlife, Sam's passion transforms each co-created design into a haven for local fauna. Beyond garden design and writing, you might find her volunteering with animal rescue or exploring the beauty of nature on the Hallidays Point bushwalking trails.
Arturo - Casual Garden Assistant
Arturo's youthful energy and boundless curiosity are a perfect match alongside the Eco Gardens and Living Team. While he may not be here full-time, his passion shines through every project he tackles, with a smile and a can-do attitude, always eager to learn and innovate. His out-of-the-box thinking brings fresh perspectives, and his deep respect for the environment ensures your vibrant sanctuary is crafted with a lot of love. Beyond the garden, Arturo leads successful teams in the retail world, applying his passion for coaching to cultivate high-performing individuals.
Dian - Social Media Specialist
Dian is the sunshine behind our digital presence, radiating warmth through captivating videos and nurturing our social media garden. As Eco Gardens and Living's Content Creator and Marketing Specialist, her artist's eye brings our projects to life online and her infectious enthusiasm fuels the team spirit. Whether you're captivated by breathtaking before-and-after shots or curious about the latest ecological trends, Dian's magic touch is sure to brighten your day. Beyond the screens, Dian ignites smiles with her thriving eco-conscious candle business, a reflection of her creative talents and passion for sustainable living.
Koa - Resident Canine Supervisor
Don't be surprised if you find a furry shadow trailing the Eco Gardens and Living team - that's Koa, our resident canine supervisor and chief morale booster! While John and the team craft your sustainable paradise, Koa keeps a watchful eye (and nose), ensuring everything runs smoothly (or sniffingly). She's the happiest making friends with clients and critters alike, whether it's charming a blue tongue lizard, greeting a friendly turtle, or respectfully acknowledging a curious diamond python. Always up for a pat and a cuddle, Koa brings a smile to every site visit. When not hard at work overseeing operations, you'll find her frolicking at Black Head Beach, making new furry (or feathery) friends and reminding everyone that a little playtime is essential for even the most dedicated supervisor.
